WENGER WILL COMMIT

Arsene Wenger took was appointed as the head coach of Arsenal back in 1996 and ever since he was in charge of the Premier League club, the French manager has managed on securing 3 trophies which are: FA Premier League, FA Cup and the FA Community Shield.

The last time that Arsenal managed on winning the Premier League trophy was in 2003 and has never won the Champions League. Wenger’s lack of silverware has been building up pressure to the 64 years old coach who just can’t seem to fight against the best in Europe.

With the recent emergence of Manchester City and Liverpool, it seems like Arsenal is not going to be able on winning the Premier League anytime soon. Arsenal are lacking a player that can spark a connection with the midfielder and the forwards of the squad, Wenger has been trying to sign new arrivals but has failed on doing so.

Wenger has a long list of players in his watch-list that he will attempt lure in to Arsenal in the summer when the transfer window opens up. Julian Draxler, Alvaro Morata is just some of the players that Wenger is keeping a close eye on.

Despite not being able on securing a major trophy in such a substantial long time, according to Thomas Vermaelen everyone in the club wants Wenger to sign a new contract and remain a longer time at the Emirates Stadium.

“Everybody wants him to stay as long as he can. He’s been incredible, what he’s done for this club and for the players as well. We would be really happy for him signing on for a few more years’’.

“The spirit is unbelievable in the team. We’ve worked a lot on our team shape and everybody knows their role in the team, everybody’s working for each other and that’s because there is a great team spirit. That’s the great improvement for us this season’’. Vermaelen revealed.
