AUBAMEYANG NOT LIKELY TO STAY

The English premier league 2020/2021 would be starting soon but Arsenal fans still have something to worry about with the future of their number 9 player on the brink. The Gunners star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to add his name to the list of big stars to leave the Emirates stadium in his prime.

The Gabon international who signed for the North London club in 2018, is stalling on signing a new deal under Mikel Arteta. Aubameyang deal expires at the end of the 2020/21 season and there has been no positive news over a possible extension deal between the player and the club.

However, a host of top clubs, including his former club Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Real Madrid have been linked with an interest in the African player. But more interesting news in recent days have indicated Chelsea are considering a shock summer move for the striker.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard is on the hunt for a perfect goalscoring machine next season, with this indication Aubameyang possible move to the bridge might be a matter of days. The striker has found the back of the net for Arsenal 49 times since joining them in January 2018 but is yet to lift any silverware for the North Londoners.

Meanwhile, the presence of Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and the inclusion of Timo Werner at Chelsea could make Aubameyang have a rethink about a possible move to the West London side. If Frank Lampard swooped in to sign the Arsenal attacker, he would have signed one of the most lethal forwards in world football. However, lack of playing time could stop his move to the bridge. Aubameyang moved to England for £56million in 2018, and despite having one of the best goalscoring profile he is yet to win any title.
