Arsenal may struggle again against Top Clubs this Season

During the month of January, Arsenal will be facing off against some top clubs in the Premier League including: Southampton and Manchester City. Both of those matches will be played away from home and these types of matches are the ones were Arsene Wenger and his team has struggled more in trying to obtain positive results and the French manager is well aware of this.

“I feel that we have not been efficient enough away from home. In our last two away games we were not strong enough defensively, not at Stoke and not at Liverpool. There’s disappointment after the result at Anfield because we conceded a goal in the last minute.”

“You can’t concede goals on corners at any minute in the game and we were caught because we were not organized quickly enough on the corner.” Arsenal wrote on Arsenal.com

Arsene Wenger has already stated that he wants to push Arsenal to a top 4 finish in the Premier League and these upcoming matches will be crucial if one of the objectives of Arsenal is to secure such a high spot in the English League.

In the latest Premier League match of Southampton, they faced off with Chelsea and rescued one point and now they will be locking horns with Arsenal in a match that can seriously favor the club that claims the victory.

During the previous season of the Premier League, Arsenal sealed the 4th spot and Arsene Wenger is determined that he will be able to push his team to the same position that he managed to do in the last campaign but Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have a number of difficult challenges that awaits them along the road as the Premier League still has more than 20 matches left to be played.
