An Overview On Arsenal’s Young Players

Unai Emery, the Arsenal boss called around 7 of the youth players of the club to train the first team. Emery has had a mixed beginning of the season and the Gunners have won 2 of the opening 4 fixtures of the Premier League since his entry. Despite the losses faced by Arsenal against Chelsea and Manchester City to start the campaign, they successfully recovered by achieving 2 victories from 2. Emery recently called 7youh players so as to fill the spaces left by the ones who are off duty. Some of them included Emile Smith Rowe and Gedion Zelalem. Smith showed an impressive performance in preseason and Zelalem is back post recovery from a knee injury.

Arsenal recently signed a 9 year old by adding to their youth ranks as the kid impressed the entire staff of the academy in a 5 week trial which was held in South Africa. The Nigerian born Jayden Adetiba has stayed in the UK and has always been a great fan of Arsenal. He was seen with his father John, who was signing the terms. His father referred to his son as the little man joining the big club. He wrote this message next to the picture of Adetiba sitting on the table wearing a Gunner’s shirt. The little man has spent the majority of his life in South Africa and played for Super Sport United Soccer School. Despite of that, he has continued to maintain a strong interest for Arsenal.

Adetiba thanked God and his parents when he got such a great opportunity to be a part of the Arsenal. He said he is happy to train thrice a week and has a match during the weekend. The best part is that he has always been a great fan and would definitely work hard to form the first team. The 9 year old cites Alex Iwobi that he wants to be like besides Cristiano Ronaldo.
